Hi,

Which light are you referring to? Is it the gear indicator lamp? Are there any other things not working?

I attached a picture of the center console in an exploded view. Let me know if that helps.

Okay. That is a small bulb for back lighting. You will need to remove the upper panel on the center console. Here are the directions for that. The attached pictures will correlate with these directions.

Removal and Installation

Place the selector level in the D position.

Gently pry up to remove the upper selector lever trim ring.

Lift the center console lid and remove the center console compartment tray.

Remove the top finish panel.

Once you remove the top finish panel, look on the left side of the shifter housing (plastic) and you will see where the light goes into the shifter housing. Gently turn it about 1/4 turn and it should come out. Simply replace the bulb and reverse the procedure.

The last pic, I colored approximately where the bulb is located in relations with the shifter.

I believe the bulb is a 2721. Remove the old one and take it with you when getting a new one just to confirm.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
