Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. I have the vehicle listed above LT and it has heated mirrors, but the driver's side window controls don't have a button or switch to turn the heated mirrors on/off.
The truck came this way when I bought it. I have to replace the window control on the driver's side, so I ordered the exact same one.
When I installed the new one and plugged the black wiring in (the plug the is closest to the engine) the heated mirrors came on. But neither the old or new controllers have a switch.
The truck has always had heated mirrors but there's no switch anywhere that I can find the turns them on and off.
My question is, are these aftermarket mirrors and is there an aftermarket window control? I have not found one nor have a found any Tahoe's that came factory with heated mirrors.
So, I would like it if you could give me a few suggestions on the direction I should go. I thought about just cutting the wire just because as soon as I plug that in the heated mirrors automatically come on.
