After 3 month layup - outside of garage with tricle charge battery charger attached - on start up 'roof malfunction service required ' warning came on.boot difficult to close and heated rear window not working.
Took to ford main garage Lincoln and again to Ford Tatterhall Lincs - neither garage could find or cure the electrical fault - after about 4 hours look. Suggested that next step was to change the roof control module -Cost £775 plus labour charge. Even then could not guarantee to cure the fault.
Any thoughts or suggestions welcome please - is this a known fault.
