The electric power door locks, lock and unlock when they want to.

When unlocking the driver's door, all the other door locks should unlock. Now sometimes the other door locks will unlock but not always.
Once in the car, pushing the driver's door lock down should lock the other three doors. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it does so after a while.
Pulling up on the driver's door lock from inside should unlock the other doors, however it does, or doesn't, or maybe after a while. Same for when the driver's door is pushed down again while driving.

I haven't looked into this yet. Not sure where to start. Maybe the drivers door lock?

Hi,

I'm looking through the wiring schematics for the door locks. There is an integral lock/unlock logic module that actuates the relays in the interior fuse box. I suspect that is where the issue is coming from.

Do me a favor. I'm looking at a picture so it could be different. If you open the interior fuse box and see if there are relays listed on the cover label. If there isn't, then suspect the box needs replaced.

I attached a pic from the schematics below for you to reference.

Let me know.

Interesting. I can't get my hands on the car until tomorrow. I will let you know what I find.

Hi,

I should clarify that the car is a Pontiac G3 2009. An Aveo twin, the G3 wasn't listed as an option on the car list.

The fuses that I found are on the left end of the dash. The panel cover is hidden by the driver's door when closed. I included a photo of the panel.

No relays here, but there may be another location. It does look like the door lock may be the only thing on the 15a fuse. Push comes to shove I might try removing the fuse, to make the locks manual, if nothing else is on it.

Finding a fix would be the nicest.

Hi,

You nailed that one. I looked up the G3 and its identical. LOL If you don't see any relays there, I suspect it is related to the logic controller which isn't repairable.

Also, you were in the correct box. I can tell you the relay part number is 94580702 which is a standard 3 pin relay. I attached a pic below.

Do me a favor. If you don't see anything in the box, check behind it under the dash to see if they put it there.

Let me know.
