I left the key on for a few hours and drained the battery. I took it down and had it charged. But there is still nothing. No lights ,buzzer or bells. I don't know what to do next. Please help.

Hi,

If nothing is working, I need you to locate the fuse/fusible link box under the hood. See pic 1 below for the location.

Next, in pic 2, I highlighted a fusible link that I need to be checked. A fusible link is basically a fuse but is designed differently to do the same thing. Confirm it is good. Also, confirm there is power to and from it.

Also in pic 2, I highlighted and circled the power supply wire to the box. Simply confirm there is 12v present on that wire/bolt. You can use a test light, multimeter, or voltmeter.

Here is a link that shows how to use a test light:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

Make sure the battery is disconnected and then do your best to clean everything. Once you get the corrosion off the connections, use dielectric grease where the connection is made. That will help produce a good connection and prevent corrosion.

Interestingly, the corrosion may have been the cause of the fuse issue. When there isn't a good connection, there is more heat and energy draw. As crazy as it sounds, that may have done it.

Here is a link that shows how to take care of the battery terminals. You may find it helpful.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
