I just put head gasket on my car listed above.

1.My EGR valve under it to the left has a water line going to it. Where does this go to? any ideas?

2. My fuel rail also has a small open pipe on toward the passenger side its open what connects to here?

these are the only two things I think I have left.

Can you get pictures of each of these items? I am thinking we are mistaking the EGR for something else because there should only be an electrical connector going to the valve. I attached a picture of the part just to confirm we are talking about the same thing.

As for the fuel rail, you may have the return line or vacuum line still unhooked. I attached the detail about the rail and injectors. Let me know if you still can't find it and pictures would be great to help with this. Thanks

Okay, thanks. Can you get a picture from a little further away? Is that in the manifold or the cylinder head? It is just a little tough to orient where that is.

Okay, figured it out. Went to salvage yard. The hose by the EGR valve goes to just under the throttle body part. It takes water to there looks like. It's the bottom hose that is also connected to another same size hose an it goes into the plastic intake tube.
The fuel rail one goes behind the intake an has a metal tube connecting (a splice like tube for heat resistance).
Started up after few cranks no noises yet or leaks. Will check back intake bolts need to add one more but may have to wait until oil change in week or so. Want to change oil few times to remove what ever water was mixed on oil. Fingers crossed.

Great info. I figured it was a feed line for something like that but didn't think about the throttle body but that makes sense. Thanks for the update.
