ECU codes?

Check engine light on my car listed above. When i pull codes and it showed,
Ecu #2 (id:7E9)
Ecu #8 (id:7EF)
What do these codes mean?

Those are not actual codes. They are instead the menu items used to tell you that other modules do have codes. The 7E9 is for the Engine Control Module and 7EF is the CAN node identifier for the area where the code is stored.
Basically, these would be like me handing you some map coordinates but with no map to use them with. You need to try the tool again or try a different one to see if you can get the actual code(s) that are in the system, many parts chains will scan the vehicle for free (and then try to sell you the parts needed to "fix that code") however you are better off posting the code and diagnosing the actual problem rather than throwing random parts at the problem.

There are no codes other than the ECU ones. That's all that pops up. which places do you think may have a reader that will read it?

There are no codes that the reader you have can access. That doesn't mean there are no other codes. That is one of the problems with many of the aftermarket core readers, they will not read any codes that are not powertrain specific. As for who can read them, usually AutoZone, Advance, O-Reilly and such will read them for free. If you want to check for which ones, their web sites usually list any store services they offer.
