Where is the ECT coolant temperature sensor located?

Using FORSCAN, I am surprised at the values returned by the ECT sensor when the engine cold, it was 17°c outside and the ECT sensor gave me -4°c, when the motor is hot the ECT values are about normal. I have an engine problem that often stalls when I leave when the engine is cold if I do not put at least 2000 rpm of gas. The idle is stable but if I put small throttle strokes, it drops to 600 RPMs for a brief moment and stalls sometimes.

Sure, it looks like the coolant temperature sensor location is in the cylinder head near the spark plugs. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Thanks for the answer, but I'm looking for the ECT sensor engine cooling temperature, not at the CHT sensor cylinder head temperature.
My engine is a 1.8 tdci 115hp.

Hello, the engine fitted is the 1.8TDCi (Lynx) engine.

The coolant temperature sensor is located on the driver's side cylinder head, near the battery just below the fuel filter housing, see image 3+4.
This sensor is also called the CHT (cylinder head temperature) sensor.
CHT sensor is item 1 on first image.
See image 1+2 below.

The sensor connector is to the right of the fuel filter housing.
See image 5+6.

Thank you, Boris, I will be able to look at this more closely. I'm going to start by disconnecting this sensor and checking with the OBD reader if it's the one that's causing me the problem when the engine is cold.
Because in my list of sensors available for OBD reading it is the ECT sensor which returns me a value that is too cold, the CHT sensor having a correct reading. Thank you very much for the help given.
