95 eagle vision, 200,000. Automatic. I have an eagle vision that i just bought. the previous owner replaced the transmission twice before he got rid of it within a month. I hooked it up to a computer and it said its not getting a reading from the T.C.M. so we checked the wires comming from the T.C.M and found out the wires were pinched. So I fixxed that problem and now the spedometer works. Then let the computer drain its power over night and the car still shifts to second then whines out. The T.C.M. looks like a new one and I dont really have the cash to buy a new one. Is there a way to check to see if its good and is there any other thing I could check? When I changed the transmission filter there was no shaving in the fluid so I dont think its the transmission. any help would be appreciated.
