i recently purchased a 1996 Eagle Vision that had it's ignition lock cylinder drilled out by a towing company. I purchased a new cylinder and installed it. The car will not start. The starter only clicks. Since the owner told me that the car was running before the lock cylinder was drilled, I have to assume that I did something wrong when I installed the new lock cylinder. HELP!!!

If you have a volt meter check voltage at the solenoid have somebody turn the key see if 12+volts is there. If not there is a voltage drop somewhere we need to find. Just to see if all systems are go get a jumper wire have the key on and jump from the batt cable to the smaller solenoid term. If she fires we know that all is good and we need to focus on the ign switch
