1990 Eagle Talon, TWI, 2.0 Turbo, 115,000 miles manual trans. Mechanic screwed up timing belt change and bent valves. He repaired at his cost. From the moment I picked it up (2 weeks ago) until now, it blows out one big puff of white smoke. Does not smoke while driving. Check engine light came on briefly a few days ago. Mechanic says that there is oil between air filter and turbo and that is causing smoke. Nothing he did wrong. Is he right? Seems like a heck of a coincidence. I need some facts to back me up if he is wrong. Please help.
