EGR valve stuck at extended position

Hi Omar,

Yes, that valve as seen its better days. This will cause fuel consumption and some performance issue even a check engine light.

Most EGR valves can be cleaned but when they are in this condition, I would replace it and then retest the vehicle. Just replacing the valve could fix all your issues so I would not do anything else until this is repaired.

Hello, I checked it on the computer and everything shows its normal, and when I full the tank with gasoline 60L, it cross 380 km.
Sir, I did the following maintenance services.
1. Throttle, fuel injectors and other sensors have been cleaned.
2. I Replaced Air Filter.
3. Oxygen sensor has been replaced.
4. E.G.R valve has been cleaned but it has problem, it's valve stuck at extended position as shown by attached image.
5. Spark plugs has been replaced before 4 months ago shown by attached image, they are arranged in order but I cleaned them.( 3000km until now)
Gasoline consumption still too high. Please solve this problem, it takes too money daily.

You named a couple problems that will effect fuel mileage that you have not correct. You need to replace the EGR and I would put new plugs in it again. These plugs are worn due to high fuel saturation. Once you do these two things, I would retest your fuel consumption.

If you still have high consumption, then you need to get the fuel pressure while driving and see what it is. You could have high fuel pressure causing over fueling. Also, you could have injector issues causing it to dump too much fuel. Do you have any smoke from the exhaust while driving? Again, all of this should be inspected after your EGR and plugs have been replaced.

No. I don't have any smoke from the exhaust while driving.
But I'll tell you the result when I replace spark plugs and EGR when I find iEGR Because we don't have Chevy Optra spare parts here.
