DVD player not working properly

I can hear a DVD but the video won’t work at all and the back screen don’t turn on at all.

More then likely you have a wiring issue or an issue with the display control module. Unfortunately there is no easy way to find this out other then run through the testing shown in the diagrams.

Haha. I totally understand. These systems are great but they are not fun to figure out when something goes wrong.

Let me know your comfort level if you want to try it but it is going to require a lot of disassembly to get to these components.

I am not trying to discourage you but it is not a fun job.

In fact, I had an issue in a van a few years back with the entertainment system and I had someone else do it.
