Dual climate control not as cool on left side

Right-hand side vents blow cold with AC on while left side blows only slightly cool with both controls in max cool settings. Sounds like blend door problem but not sure whether AC computer might be at fault.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, it sounds like you are having a problem with the blend door/re-circulation actuator on the left side.It is mounted to the HVAC unit under the dashboard.It's an electrical motor that opens/closes doors to move air throughout the ducts.Here is a tutorial showing what is involved in its replacement:

Thank you very much for the helpful information. I am going to get started on the weekend. Because there is no clicking sound (probably no broken teeth) and the actuator is actually working enough to get the temperature a little bit cooler, I hope it is not the blend door, itself. It seems as though the blend door is not shutting completely so it's letting a little heat blend in with the cool air. Of course I don't know that this is the case. Just trying to describe the possible cause and effect as I imagine it. I hope I don't have to remove the dashboard to get to the blend door. I will report back as soon as I get some results. Thanks, again.
