I just replaced the head gaskets and heads. Now I’m getting this dtc. I’m seeing that there are two ckp's in this engine. Does the dtc tell which one it is?

Hello,

This code usually gets triggered by the crank sensor that is located behind the crank pulley, also known as the 24X.
Keep in mind this code can also be due to a wiring issue for the sensor.

I have attached the troubleshooting guide for the code P0336 below for your reference.
Follow those steps as it can help you determine the issue.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

So, I pulled the harmonic balancer and this is what I found. A broken bolt that I can’t explain why it’s there or where it came from and, damage to the pulley…

It almost looks like someone pried on it with a breaker bar. Not sure where the bolt could be from though.

The only thing I can think of is maybe they tried pulling the pulley before I got ahold of this car, and didn’t have the right tools to do it.

Yes, that is what likely happened.
