My rear drum brakes need replaced. They are grinding bad.
What are the parts exactly needed for that. And maybe how much would a repair shop cost to get it there maybe.

Hi,

If they are grinding, the drums will likely need to be replaced as well as the brake shoes. There is brake hardware which I recommend always be replaced such as retainers and springs.

If you want to try it yourself, here is a link that explains in general how it's done:

However, I have a question. I'm looking in my manual to locate the directions specific to this vehicle and the only thing listed is for disc brakes. Are you certain they are drum brakes?

Let me know.

When I got my oil changed, that is what was listed as the kind of brakes. They gave me a list of what needed to be done. I thought it was kind of odd as well.

If you look through the rear wheel, see if it has a brake rotor similar to the front brakes. I attached a pic of what one looks like. Now, the parking brake shoes are inside the rotor and they are brake shoes. Maybe that is what they meant.

Let me know.
