Dropped license in slot between arm rest and parking brake, how can I retrieve it?

My license fell out of my hand and slotted itself in the hole just behind my parking brake. I’ve tried to retrieve it with a bit of tape with no luck. Any help on ways to access this spot would be greatly appreciated as if there isn’t I will need to order a new license. I ll also add on; I drive a three door EcoSport if that s of any assistance.

It happens, I would remove the center console which will take about a half hour here are the instructions in the images below to help walk you through the steps. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
