How to replace the drive (serpentine) belt?

Yes, there are two.

Look for cracks on the belt and wear marks. Your car is almost twenty years old. The belts should be changed at 50,000 services.

If they are noisy, replace them.

Maybe I should just change them since the vehicle has 127,000+ miles already.

Lastly you have a drive belt on the alternator and A/C compressor. Then I show you have a second belt for the power steering.

Take a look below for this info that shows how to remove each belt. There is an adjuster on the alternator and a second on next to the power steering pump.

Here's a picture of the drive(serpentine) belt.

That does not look terrible, but you need to inspect the ribbed side for any cracking or splitting.

Take a look at the picture below. The best way to find out is to remove the belt and then bend it to see if the grooved side of the belt is split.

Now, if I decide to replace the belt, what are the torque wrench settings for the 3 bolts.

In my original response, the diagrams have the torque specs for the bolts. It was 32 pounds.
