I did my brakes and rotors the past weekend and when I got the front drivers side jacked up I noticed that I could move the wheel side to side. It's not a smooth transition like I'm moving the steering its more of a clunk clunk clunk and moves a good 1 or more. The passenger side one moves a tiny bit and not anywhere like the drivers side. Also when I make turns over small bumps or like turning into a parking lot it makes a loud clunk/pop that I can hear and feel inside the truck. Wondering where to start in fixing it.

Hello,

This sounds like it could be a couple of different things, either a bad wheel bearing, or a bad CV joint. If I could get you to inspect the CV joint and the boot that covers it and make sure that the boot ins't compromised in any way letting sand and gravel into the joint and wearing it out. Here is a link describing in better details what to look for:

Please get back to us with what you find out and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex
