The driver's seat will recline but will not incline?

Hello, I recently took my father's vehicle listed above PPV as a loaner vehicle for the time being due to my family’s main car losing brakes on the interstate. I got halfway home, stopped at the gas station and leaned over the seat not realizing I was reclining it all the way down. I went to incline the seat backing back up and to surprise, it wouldn’t budge. What exactly can I do to manually move it back Up to be drivable or to fix the issue temporarily? Is it possibly the switch? I checked the fuses, and they all tested good with continuity above 0.2 ohms. Where else should I look, because I’m thinking it’s the switch, but I don’t want to waste money and order one if that doesn’t seem like the culprit to someone who knows what to look for. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

I just looked at the schematic and I feel it is the switch. The two wires you are looking or related to the incline function via the same switch. When you move it downward, power travels one direction. To raise the seat, power is supplied in the opposite direction (change in polarity) causing the motor to run in the opposite direction lifting the switch.

I attached the schematic below. The two wires you are looking for are highlighted in the pic. The power to lower the seat is sent via a blue wire with a yellow tracer. The one to lift it up is a green wire with a yellow tracer.

If you have a test light, see if power is provided to those two wires based on the requested positioning.
