Drivers front hub

I had my trusted mechanic install a new wheel bearing on the drivers front. After doing so, I noticed a shimmy when I brake from speeds above 50 MPhil that wasn't there before. It seems to me a warped rotor is the cause. Would that bad wheel bearing mask the shimmy and maybe it was always there?

it could have or maybe rotor isn't seated all the way have him recheck it. could be tire balance as well.

How do you press the front wheel bearing assembly out of a 2005 equinox? I removed the 3 mounting screws and the 1-5/16 nut on the spindle. I have jack screws on it and tried beating the 3 mounting screws from the backside to get it started but it doesnt budge.

did you break loose the axle from the hub?i would also get some liquid wrench spray the hub are where it goes into the knuckle.let it soak at least 30 mins the longer the better.then take a hammer and try tapping on the hub one side of it then the other side of the hub.its probably just stuck from rust.let me know how it goes.
