Door latch does not respond to manual, key fob or switch. Door is now closed and unable to open. I recently replaced the door actuator which corrected the lock/unlock response but inner latch didn't respond. Presently have door panel off and vapor guard (very messy) off. I need to open the door to replace the latch assembly. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Additionally, I was asked by local Honda parts department if the VIN #started with a J (Japan) or B (United Kingdom) since this will designate the country of origin for parts. Yet I haven't seen that mentioned when searching for a replacement door latch assembly?
