Drivers side power window makes noise but does not go down?

Hi,

How would you best describe the noise? Does it sound like the motor is running normally but the glass doesn't move, or does it sound like there is something preventing the glass from moving?

If you could record the sound and upload it for me to hear, it may help.

Let me know if this is a coupe or sedan as well.

Thanks for responding so quickly. Unfortunately, the car is now dead (I recently had a new alternator and battery installed so now a new problem) and the car is at another location about 150 miles from me. I won't be able to send the sound clip until August.

The car is a two door.
