Last winter during a snowstorm slid on highway and collided with divider. No major damage, just the front bumper and grille got damaged. Since then, the driver side front turn signal has not been working, headlight on passenger and driver side are fine undamaged. Thought turn signal bulb might be busted however, since said accident, turn signal does on come sporadically. I inspected the bulb and the it’s functioning. I noticed a wire with a yellow plug is hanging. This is what i need help with. Because of the collision I believe the wire is disconnected. Can you please help me? Not sure how to fix it. Positive it is not the bulb but definitely a wire issue. Thanks

Can you upload images so I can see what you are talking about? Here are some combination lamp diagrams to get us started but I need to see what the problem is. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Sorry thought it had uploaded correctly.
It feels like there is a wire disconnected, like i said it does turn very sporadically. I just don't know what wire or connections.

I would make sure the wiring connector is on the bulb socket completely and check for damaged wiring. Can I ask if the left rear blinker is working okay?

It looks like the wiring got severed on the gray socket? The yellow connector is disconnected? Did the front light ever work?

Yes, the lights always worked, until the collision from snow then all i know us the driver side blinker stopped working.

Yes, the yellow plug appears disconnected, which is why I'm asking in the first place. I don't and it doesn’t seem that the socket is severed.

It looks like the electrical connector might be popped off after the accident. I would use a flashlight and look where to plug it back in which I have included in the images below.

Hi,

It's hard to tell from the pic which is an issue. I attached a pic below of the wiring to it. What I need you to do is check the pink wire when the signal is on to see if there is power to it. You can use a test light or a multimeter.

If there is power, check to make sure the gray wire has continuity to ground. Here are links you may find helpful. (note: You will need a multimeter to check this).

Let me know what you find. Also, when you indicated left, I assume you are indicating the left side of the vehicle while sitting in it. That would be the driver's side. If that is incorrect, let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks for the reply. I fixed it was just loose wiring front the socket base, duct taped to the socket wall around where the bulb goes in, so it doesn’t come loose while driving. All good.
