Depending on which engine you have, it is different. I attached both for your review so just pay attention to where it changed from the 2.3L to the 3.0L in the heading. I think the first 4 are the 2.3L process and the rest are the 3.0L.

Let us know if you have other questions. Thanks

Thank you . It cleared all monitors. But the EVAP. No codes I have to perform two drive cycles. For the EVAP system .What will clear right now. Thank you sir you're the best . You're the only one who had that information. Everybody else said there was no drive cycle you were right. Anything under a 2000 year two monitors don't have to set and it will pass. It's a law . Just no codes. Thank you sir for your time.

Unfortunately the only way to clear that monitor without just letting it clear over time is to perform the drive cycle laid out. Just make sure you are seeing the special tip of if the engine is shut off to start over. Did you let the vehicle sit for at least 8 hours before trying this?

Also, step 6 says to drive the vehicle for about 15 minutes. Then step 7 says to keep steady throttle 50-70 mph without moving the accelerator for a minute. This is after the 15 minute drive.

Each step is separate so do one as it states then move onto the next. If this does not cause it to pass then you will need to try it the next day.

This is the hardest one to get to pass so just make sure you are doing it exactly as it says or it won't pass.

Let me know what happens.

Good luck. Like I said it is the hardest one to get to run so keep trying if you are not successful. It will run.

Hi Dreday818,

The first thing you want to do is jump in the car and drive it about 35 miles. Then let it cool down completely and do the same thing again. This will reset the monitors.

Use 2CarPros anytime, we are here to help. Please tell a friend.

Cheers
