I took my belts off three weeks ago and just now got back to replacing them. I have four belts labeled. Two are the same size and come off the alternator. Do they both go around the water pump and crank shaft? One belt comes off power steering pump. It was the first that I got lose and removed. So it must be last to go on. The real mystery is the bigger belt. It must go around the crank, fan and air condenser pump. This has needed to be done for so long that I was very hasty and foolish not to take pictures. Now I cannot find an answer to a simple question. Which, where, when. I want this done and over with. I am so tired. Thanks

Hello, I am Danny.

I did find a belt diagram and attached it below. Does you car have an under hood/radiator cover belt diagram sticker? If the attached picture does not look the same can you take a picture with your phone of the engine components and upload here? Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

I found this diagram already but it is just a picture. No list of which belt goes where and when. I have four belts. I put them on corresponding side or top of car. Then I took new belt and matched it to old ones. Now that the pulleys are in I can see the alignment of the pulleys. I think the air and steering pump is first. Next the two identical belts (from passenger side) go to the alternator, water and crank. Final large belt goes from crank to air.

Hello again.

From a picture I have attached, it looks like the two same size belts go on first around the crank, fan, alternator. The third belt goes around A/C compressor to power steering pump. Last belt goes from crankshaft to A/C compressor. Let me know if this works or I will keep looking. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
