doors open by themselves when van is sitting idle

Sounds as if there is a problem with the door actuators, this is most unusual. i would not try and adjust or mess with the actuators, i would get a dealer to test the system with a factory diagnosis laptop. there may be a problem with the control module as well, a re-flash of the module if there is an up date may also help.

The passenger side automatic door doesn't open automatically-only manually. The drivers side automatic door works as it should. What could be the problem?

I had this same problem on my T&C. Turned out, one of the wires that controls the power to the door had gotten pinched in the door somehow and had been cut. The only reason I figured it out is that one day when trying to figure it out, I noticed a spark in the lower track. In looking closer, I found the cut wire. I was able to splice it back together and secure it to the plastic "chain" that is supposed to protect the wires and since then, no problem.

On my 05 T & C both power sliding doors will pop open but this will not power slide. I am not sure where I should start looking to fix the problem

Start by checking fuses. If they are good, then the motor will need check to see if it is receiving power.

My sliding back door on the driver's side will start to open with any of the mechanical buttons, but will only open about 8 or 10 inches and it stops. If I try to close it from an open position, it will stop in the same place it stops when I try to open it. Manually, I have no trouble opening or closing it. I have looked for obstructiions, etc. but have found nothing. Any suggestions?

I would look for a bolt on the track that is loose and moving around while the door is moving.

my passenger side door -when you push the open button oonly opens about 5 inches than stops. When opened manually and you push the close button the door closes to about 5 inches of close then stops. what is causing this? The driver door works ok. Also the passenger side door is used about 5 times as much as the driver side door.

I had this same problem and I found there was a broken wire in the harness below the door. If you are handy, you can easily make the repair yourself.
