That is because the 2005 uses entirely different control systems in the doors than the 2002. The 02 uses regular switches and relays to control the motors and locks. The 05 on the other hand has control modules in each door and uses computer controls to make them operate, the systems are not interchangeable, nor can they be rewired to work. To make things work you would need to swap everything from the 2002 door into the 2005 door. The wiring harness, switches and more were changed over in 2003 to the new system. I believe the window regulator and motor are still the same as the door latch and locks, the switches are not the same though.
