door lock replacement different than your video?

i need to remove the driver's side door lock. i used your video "Door Lock Replacement Toyota 4Runner 1995-2002" as a reference. The problem is my car has a wire harness connected to the back of the lock cylinder which your video does not show. i think it's part of the key fob remote system (but i honestly have no idea). Your video says to "remove the door handle - it may take a little maneuvering and wiggling". Because of the wire harness, there's no way to wiggle the handle assembly out of the hole and no clear disconnection point for the wires.
i can't find any videos about door handle removal that include this connected wire harness. Can you help?
