Door ajar chime

I have this truly annoying door chime that I'd like to turn off (or lower the volume significantly). I know at one point, only the Anti-Theft light would blink but we had taken this in for some work and it came back with the chime enabled.

Basically, I'd like to have the chime off and AT light on (flash or whatever it needs to do).

the anti theft light is an indication of a failure in the system.

there is a module for the chimes and this cannot be disabled.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Maybe I wasn't too clear: I am fine with the AT light blinking or whatever it does when door is ajar. It's not on when door is shut, driving etc.

I am just trying to disable the door ajar chimes. Or lower the volume.
