Okay, I have been having problems after the transmission wiring was all toast. so, I replaced that harness. after that it wouldn't start well sometimes but no most times. so I check that wiring and the purple wire was wrong I mean I just did the purple wire in the other purple wire I hope u understand what I'm saying. well wow truck start but acting like out of fuel then works fine then start smoking after 20 min running and then shut off. This whole time the battery voltage was low like a quarter on gauge. New battery, new alternator. After the truck shut off it would start after charging battery. battery full truck start but slow. Today it started good but battery voltage was dropping and then truck shut off. it has code 59,67,73 and 82. any help will be appreciated.

Yep, it sounds like the ground strap is not connected or missing, this will be the big ground strap going from the frame to the engine/transmission. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks for that information. I will get to it in a minute. A question, is it okay if a have a thick wire from battery negative to top of engine and another one to the frame?

Yes, it should be good. the idea is to have the battery grounds to the engine and frame with a wire or cable the size of the battery cable.

Okay. I unplug battery negative wire then with a test light one end on negative wire and other end on negative post the test light is shining good is it supposed to do that? I remove the fuse one by one to see if the test light goes off. Pulled all of them and the light didn't go off. I did the same with positive wire and the same test light went on. What to do? this has been on for a while now. Thanks, any help will be appreciated.

Yes, the light comes on when there is a drain, did you have the doors open when you were doing the test?

This guide can help:

If the battery is low, it will cause the starter to stay engaged. let's do a load check by following this guide. Code 67 uis 67 - AC pressure sensor circuit or a/c clutch circuit failure so this will not affect the engine running.

Please go over this guide and report back.

I think we need to check the wiring and the connections.

Here is a guide to help and the wiring diagrams so you can do the testing:
