Dome inside lights

My dome lights go off when I get out but come back on later. I look out and they are on again and I cannot find the fuse to pull it out. I think it has something to do with the alarm system, because when the red light is on inside it does not do it. please help me.

have a mechanic scan for codes it may be a module problem. it is fuse 226 on central fuse box.

My fuses do not go as high as 226.

Hi SANDY,

It sounds like it is one of the door latches. With all of the doors closed and the dome light off, door to each door and without opening the door wiggle the each of doors around to see if you can get the light to come on.

Here is the wiring diagram for the system. There is a dome light relay that could be bad.
