how to remove my rear drive propeller shaft ?

Can I remove my rear drive propeller shaft and drive all summer in just front wheel drive? Reason; I bought a car dolly and want to tow with 2 up and 2 down not 4 Down. Will it hurt my CRV if I put it on a tow dolly with the rear drive propeller shaft removed? I will reinstall the shaft at end of summer after motorhome vacations.

This is not something that is the best idea. However, based on the fact that you have a front wheel drive vehicle that will apply the rear drive shaft when it needs it then you can do it. The only reason that is important is because you have two u joints that have the drive shaft bolt into place rather than a slip yoke. Your slip joint is in the middle of the drive shaft so you will not lose fluid when you remove it.
