GM parts online states that my car does not have a fuel filter and I cannot find the correct part number to direct fit my application. Does anyone know from service information if this car has a fuel filter?

Good afternoon.

Thanks that is what I thought, but I cannot seem to find the correct part number that direct fits my vehicle. I looked on GM parts online and it states they do not have one?

Okay.

Try this, it has the original GM part number and they are in stock.

That is the whole assembly. I am only looking for the fuel filter itself.

If you cannot find the external filter in the lines, then it is part of the fuel assembly.

That is why GM could not find it. I found the information I sent you on Alldata but if you cannot find it, it will be part of the pump.

This says engine fuel filter. Is this a fuel filter which will connect in back of the tank?
I am not sure why it says engine fuel filter for. But it looks like a fuel filter to me.

Yep, that is if you have an external filter.

The first thing you need to do is to make sure you have one externally. Inspect the lines from the front to the back and check. If you do, then that one will work.

If you do not, then it is part of the fuel pump assembly.

I saw the photo.

Again, you need to inspect the lines to be sure you have one.

Thanks I will check to see if the filter is mounted outside the fuel tank.
