i just got the malibu programmed, but 3 codes that were there before the programming didnt go away and the tech cleared them they came back, then i cleared them they came back UO257 UO1520:00 AND UO151:00 the hvac controls didnt work radio/cd dont wotk and didnt light up along with ac/heater controls and that radio faceplate it seems to be a LIN BUS problem, he said the faceplate radio .AC heater controls are all integrated and must communicate with 1 another, whats weird is the radio works! plays very low volume on 1 station and it seems the AC/HEATER control is stuck on 1 spped in same heat setting, like the last time before i replaced the orig heater control module, Pat

U0257: This code signifies a loss of communication with the Info Display Module or Infotainment Faceplate Control Module.

U1510: This code indicates a loss of communication with a device on the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus.

U1520: Similar to U1510, this code points to a communication failure with another device on the LIN bus.

U0073: This code denotes a Control Module Communication Bus "A" Off condition

If the fuses are all good, it seems like the BCM or the Telematics Communication Interface Control Module could be bad. Have you tried an hard system reboot? It could help.

the BCM it was replaced by me in 2020 no water damage had {new one} cloned, ( from original} GM OEM unit, { GM flash a business in Missouri} there was 2 blown fuses i got it taken care, codes/DTC are gone except U1520 faceplate . radio, AC/heater controls work and light up now but stabil trak comes on u0121 is been there for years intermittent problem i was thinking . maybe Poor electrical connection in the CAN bus circuit or ABS module, no rats or mice ever chewed up things/ wires, car is still in Greenville, SC area 158k on it, had it since bought with 11k so no rust or corrosion /salt not a issue. this is a weird problem maybe power assist steering control module? or harness or wiring? that module is in a crappy spot under the car, Regardless thanks for the full system boot info i am still going to do that i never had the malibu discharged / hard system reboot, maybe Battery disconnected for a few hours that's it, or when replaced in 2022. I am glad you found the blow fuses, I would still do the hard reboot to see if that helps reset things. It could be a bad connection as well, you can try unplugging modules to look for corrosion.
