When the gear shift is on Reverse the lights do not turn on. Both lights are not working and I have looked at both bulbs and they are OK. How can I search for the problem and fix it.

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your prompt respond. I understand that the back-up light switch on transaxle could be faulty. Do you have instructions and/or diagram for replacing the back-up light switch?

Sorry, I did not realize your vehicle was equipped with an automatic transmission. The transmission range sensor (TRS) is what is used for the back-up lamps on your vehicle. It is located on the left side of the transmission and is replaced by simply disconnecting the electrical connectors and removing the sensor from its mounting location.
