I recently thru a P0748 code. Had the solenoid replaced, the relay switch, the harness and all the wiring replaced. Car worked great for 2 months and after a snowstorm it thru the code again. It goes through the shifting perfect then will go to limp mode. The transmission has been checked and is perfect. Nothing mechanically wrong with the tranny.
Is my next step to replace the PCM?

Yes the code was erased each time and for a while the light stayed on but the car shifted like normal, then the light went off and all was fine. Currently the light is on, can't get it to go off and the car starts fine, goes about 10 miles then goes into limp mode.

Everything replaced up to PCM. No other codes showing or stored. Just the P0748.
Everyone is really confused and I just have a hard time with the repair if no guarentee.

was all the testing done for P0748? Lots of wiring testing with OHM meter soleniod to PCM to verify PCM faulty. The code is not written in stone just a clue.
