Have replaced cam and crank sensors and put in a used ECM and van just dies while driving( all other electrical works ) just no fire to coil or distributor. Checked all relays(kill relay ,ignition relay, neutral safty switch. What else can I do? p.s. check engine light never comes on during failure or while driving. only when initial ignition is turned on

Hi duzitall, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation and selecting us to assist in your auto repair needs. Feel free to ask questions at anytime.

I want you to check for power at the coil dark green and orange wire and also at the injectors harness. If okay check and test the coil, distributor pick-up coil and ignition control module and then report back with some results.

if it is i.c.m. wouldn't it not start at all? Why would ignition shut off while running? All ready checked coil power-when won't fire,no power to coil. Is i.c.m. on fire wall by power brake drum(side by side with shut off relay)...if so all ready checked them by swapping plugs. Do I need to rest ECM to my van since it came out of another used van?

All ready checked coil power-when won't fire,no power to coil. If you're refering this power at the coil as battery voltage-check and test the ASD relay and for battery voltage at the dark green and orange wire at the coil and injector harness then report back with some testing results

ICM when it heats up this is where problem could exist causing your problem
