My father has a 2wd Ram 1500 with a 318 cubic in. motor. He lost all oil pressure about 2 years ago so I assumed it was the oil pump and replaced it and things were back to normal ( about 60 psi ). It only lasted about a year till it lost pressure again ! This time he took it to a real mechanic.... and again the pump was replaced. Well another year has gone by and once again NO PRESSURE. has anyone ran into this or could myself and this other mechanic be overlooking a recall or something else ??? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
