What model truck do you have?If it doesn't operate on any speed then i would say it wasn't the resistor.Let me know what model truck you have and i will get you the trouble tree.Resistor's are expensive you don't want to replace one unless it's bad.

agarroad Says>1500 slt, 4x4, crew cab, 5.7 liter engine. fan was working fine when i parked it. 2 days later went to use truck and no fan at any speed. checked what i think was fuse (40 amp) fuse looked fine, st.
saturntech9 says>I couldn't find a trouble tree for your blower motor inop.So let's do this find your blower motor it's behind the right side of the dash. There should be a dark blue wire and a dark blue and yellow wire going to it.Put your fan speed on high with the key in the run position now see if you have battery voltage to those two wire's if you do and the motor isn't working then you have a loose connection to the motor or a bad motor.Let me know what you find.
