How does one remove the lens to replace the bulb in the overhead console. The light is turned on/off by pressing the lens. How do I replace the bulb?? I don't to mar or destroy the lens covering.

I have that same year truck and your have
to remove the overhead cover first. In the
compartment for your garage door opener there
are two recessed tabs, one on each side of the
compartment. Pull back on both tabs and then
pull down on the first of the overhead cover
and when it comes loose swing toward the back
of the truck which should release the rear
hangers. That will gave you access to the
overhead light area.
