1998 Dodge Truck 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

cummins diesel what is the order of the injection tube comming from the back of the injector pump (a drawing or a clock rotation will be fine) Also,,,can the timing gear housing be removed without removing the cam gear? thank you very much

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION This procedure applies only to diesel engines. Disconnect the battery negative cable(s). Drain the coolant from the block. Remove the upper radiator hose. Remove the coolant and windshield washer bottles from the fan shroud. Remove the fan assembly (left-hand thread). Remove the fan and shroud from the vehicle. Remove the accessory belt. Remove the fan support/hub from the engine. Remove the crankshaft damper. Remove the gear cover-to-housing bolts and pry the cover off. To install: Check seal condition and replace it if damaged. A pilot eases assembly. Reverse the removal procedure. Tighten cover bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (24 Nm).
