the a/c unit in my 1987 dodge pickup will not work. the compresser works. when i pull a vaccume it holds the pressure but when i put coolant into the system. it dosenot hold the pressure

Hi there,

if the system is holding a vacuum there should be no leaks, you may have a problem with the compressor and leaking internally, has the system pressures be check on charging? or are you just trying a bottle fill ?
