I have a 1999 stratus 2.4dohc 140,000 miles. Drove through some high water and it stalled. Got it home and found the air filter was soaked, I'm sure it sucked up some water in the engine, and when started the enige was making a loud tapping noise. The noise is very rapid and steady. The engine starts right up and I dont see any water in the oil. Any ideas on what could have happened when it sucked up the water?
