2003 Dodge Stratus changing oil and filter

You need to remove the trans pan under the car. Be careful because the fluid will come out when you remove it. Once removed, you will see the filter. Some are screwed on, others are just pressed on. Remove the old one, and reverse the sequence. Make sure the old gasket is properly cleaned. When refilling the trans, make sure not to overfill and use the exact type of fluid listed on the dip stick. I can't remember if it's 7176, ATF+3 or ATF+4 for your year.
