2002 Dodge Stratus Service Lighter is on

I have a Dodge Stratus RT two door Coupe, my tempeture gage went out when I put the wrong cigarette lighter from kragen auto parts in and the lighter almost shorted the radio out, but the tempeture gage is out now. Would this the engine need servicing light to come on, and if so would it be a fuse, or something else?
