2001 Dodge Stratus AC evaporator coil drain line must be cl

On the firewall (under the hood) you should find it about 1/2 way down on the passanger side. The most common place for them to plug is within the first few inches of the hose due to dirt getting into them. Check that. Most of the time you can just squeeze the hose back and forth in your fingers and the water will come flying out.

I found the connection for the evaperator drain tube, after I removed the plastic iair ntake assembly. It did not have a hose on the drain connection and you could not see it from below the car. The firewall padding was actually over part of it, the top. Very very difficult to find and see. You need two people, one above to guide you to the opening and only assessable from below. I ran a looped end close hanger wire in and out of several times and felt nothing.

The leak is still in the car. I went and purchased a few inches of 1/2" hose, which I plan to place over the end thinking that not having a hose has something to do with the air flow or pressure difference not allowing the water to drain while driving. You can see water draining out of the end, when I ran the AC, but it is still somehow getting into the driver side of the car. Any advise is appreciated on what might be causing this probloem, as it might not be the drain hose port stopped up, but something else.

There should be a hose. I think that is the problem. Other than that, there would have to be a crack in the HVAC system.
