my 2001 dodge stratus cope,a/c runns fine when you frist start it up.but about 10mins later when the car warm up,the compressor starts to shout cycle.on & off with in 3 sec and also the fans.....there is'nt any sign's of ice up on the suction line on the compressor, so i dont think it's low on frion...any idea's, plese let me knw, thank u....

Ice on the suction line is a sign of over-charge. Compressor cycling rapidly is a sign of under-charge. The low-pressure cutout switch is turning the compressor off to prevent pulling the low side into a vacuum and drawing in air / humidity.

thanks for the help,the unit was cycling on a head pressure of 400psi.it was over charge and that was causeing the compressor to short cycle.same to be running fine now...thank u
