I have lost all keys for my 1999 Dodge Stratus. I brought the title to my local Dodge dealership and they cut a new key but It i will not turn in the Ignition. I brought the key back and they cut it a little deeper but It still will not work.
They stated they would need to tow it in and replace the ignition.
My question is - should I do as they say, or find someone else to try cutting a key? The car does not have the optional security key- just standard key
Is replacing the Ignition something I could do with limited mechanical abilites with a good repair manuel?

I would call a lock smith for about a $100 they should come cut you a new keys and program them for you if needed
cheaper than towing and replacing the lock s
