One year ago, I began having problems with my car shutting off. I got it checked by one of those devices that plugs into my car and it said ignition coil. This, to me, was very vague but I replaced the ignition coil and the problem persisted. I then took it to Midas for a diagnostic and their device also said ignition coil. Later I talked to a friend of the family who worked on cars and he said it was the MAF sensor. I had him replace it and the car was fine. Here and now, one year later, the same problem is back. I had a friend look at it and he cleaned my trottle body, flushed my exhaust intake and put fuel injector cleaner in my gas tank. That was beneficial, but it didn't solve my problem. Then his cousin diagnosed and replaced the fuel pump. Again, beneficial, but didn't solve the problem. Now I have opinions from a lot of people saying that it's the MAF sensor. Could this be the problem?
